Car Restoration

1967 Datsun Roadster 1600 — long-term restoration

This was a full frame-off restoration of a 1967 Datsun Roadster 1600 — powder-coated frame, rebuilt original parts, and hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. I planned, executed, and documented the work over time, including wiring/diagnostics, chassis-level assembly, and body preparation/paint. The car is now running and driving, and I take it out regularly.

After: completed, running vehicle following restoration work.

Build gallery (chronological)

The restoration process included hands-on work across mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, chassis and suspension components, and body preparation. Much of the work was performed in a home-garage environment — planning, tool choice, and iteration mattered.
