About
Factory-side engineering: fix the real failure modes and keep the gains.
My background is hands-on manufacturing engineering in regulated aerospace environments and continuous-run, high-speed production. I focus on the work that moves metrics: first-pass yield, scrap, throughput, and stable process control.
What I’m good at
- Root cause analysis: isolate failure modes and drive corrective actions that prevent repeat issues.
- Process development: define parameters, validation plans, and production controls for stable ramp-up.
- Documentation: work instructions/SOPs that actually get used on the floor.
Where I’ve done it
- CPP (Pomona): casting + weld repair in an AS9100 environment; FPY and yield improvements.
- Anheuser-Busch (Riverside): equipment reliability and uptime support on high-speed can-end presses.
- Education: B.S. Manufacturing Engineering — Cal Poly Pomona (2022).
